Walking on Glass

Seductively sexy show! The runway was made of mirrors and the strobe lights created fantastic visual illusions through the otherwise dark stage. Suddenly, while I was walking, I thought, will I be able to see the end of the runway?

I wasn’t sure but, I picked a point to focus on and walked like I knew where the end was. One thing is for sure, always be calm when you are walking on glass.  I don’t get stressed anymore about what could go wrong because there are too many ways to turn a difficult piece or situation into either a show stopper, or a crowd pleasing moment.  Outlandish outfit; play into the fantasy, walk like the vision not as yourself.  Although, I do admire the sexy yet deadly Femme Fatale ;)

EMPEROR'S NEW CLOTHES

The New Season of The Fashion Show Ultimate Collection is finally here! It was such a great experience being on the show.

During episode 1 of The Fashion Show, I was able to meet all of the designers and of course our fabulous hosts Iman and Issac Mizrahi.

Every designer's style was so amazingly different and it was fascinating to see each person's interpretation of Iman. Even more fascinating was how each houses' fashion show was presented. The colors, lights, and drama were all so vastly different for each team even though they both had the same assignment. Everyone was passionate about what they were creating and this was evident on the runway. The anticipation and excitement for the first show could not be measured.

Mike's dress was absolutely fabulous! This white creation caused eye popping drama through fluid cuts and a streamline twisted black rope running down my bare back. For the show, the rope was then interlaced through my hair making me one with the dress. The fabric was silky, sheer and clung to every inch of my body I felt like I was wearing nothing walking down the runway! There was no other choice but to walk like the Emperor in my new 'clothes'.

Some of the other girls were wearing some great pieces. I was impressed with the two houses collections. Tune in next Tuesday to Bravo at 10pm/9c to see more body conscious jaw dropping master pieces.
